Fire prevention at the work place requires identification of hazards and controlling of those hazards. Checklists on fire prevention should address local fire requirements. A fire plan should be developed that includes appointment of responsibilities and duties for all sections and areas of the work place. Fire reporting, evacuation, warning, and extinguishing procedures are all relevant issues that would be included in the fire plan.
